Workflow Management System
Ashva’s knowledge of the healthcare domain and its processes forms the foundation for the Catalyst Workflow Management System. The workflow solution is designed to simplify your enterprise's sophisticated non-clinical processes though minimum effort and offers immense benefits in terms of agility, compliance and enterprise-level scalability.
Catalyst Workflow Management System comprises the following:
Powerful Workflow Engine
The Catalyst Workflow Server controls the execution of workflow processes in healthcare systems using process definitions and status information. Process definitions created in the Designer are stored in the Workflow Server database and used by the Server to decide what actions to take at each step of the workflow. It uses the XPDL industry standard developed by the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMc). It is scalable and robust, and supports parallel and serial queues, conditional routing and more. It also supports user, group and role-based participants, deadlines, escalations and alerts.
Graphic Workflow Designer
A user-friendly graphical modelling environment enables even non-IT staff and those with little or no programming knowledge to model processes. Process maps guide the integration of people, processes and applications. Even the most complex processes can be modelled with minimal programming skills.
Electronic Forms Designer
While a WYSIWYG interface comes handy in designing powerful web-based user interfaces for workflow applications, simple graphic controls and formatting objects ease the creation of unique, sophisticated and easily customisable forms.
Seamless Database Links
Databases and applications can be integrated using XML interchange and ODBC connectivity.
Monitor
The status of any workflow process can be monitored from the browser. Different users can have different process views based on their access levels.
Reports
Custom-built web-based reports can be easily generated which measure and improve healthcare processes. These reports help monitor activities and obtain real-time graphical insights into the status of ongoing healthcare processes and activities.
Organization Charts
Graphical organization charts help outline algorithms for reporting relationships and define how workflows are routed.
Browser Client
The web browser offers an easy-to-use Task List to every user. Users can monitor, view and participate in workflows from the browser. Documents, files or images can be attached and routed internally or via Internet through workflows
E-Mail Enabled
Existing mail systems can be used for proactive notification of workflow tasks, such as reminders, alerts and escalation messages. Each mail can be individually configured for content.
